[ABC News] FTC's rule banning fake online reviews goes into effect

Recently I bought a <$20 FBA beauty product that had good reviews, some with photos. A few days later I receive a postcard in the mail offering me a free duplicate product or $20 gift card if I post a positive review and email them a screenshot.
I can’t decide what to do with this:
a. report to Amazon for malfeasance
b. get the “reward” and stay quiet, no one gets punished anyways
c. get the “reward” and THEN report them
d. milk this seller for all the freebies they offer
e. do nothing
f. ________________
I don’t sell in beauty, so I know nothing of sellers there.

Eternally optimistic as I am, I’m hopeful to be seeing more reports of Amazon complying with this sea-change such as the one found here over in the NSFE:

ETA:

Kudos to SAS’ own @Nutty_Nuisance for weighing in there with a pointed observation
