Hi all. I am an MF seller, and use Accelerlist to list inventory. I am noticing that when I send over batches of listings, they take FOREVER to show up in my active inventory. I sent over a batch of 90 listings about 20 minutes ago, and so far 50 have shown up. I have been using Accelerlist for a couple of years and don’t remember it ever taking so long for listings to appear in my inventory. Has anyone else dealt with this? I’ve messaged Accelerlist help, and they just tell me its Amazon’s server speed. I’m about to rip my hair out.
Alternatively, if you know of a quality listing software I shiould check out, please let me know!
I listed some books individually last night and it took a while for them to show up in inventory. For the last few books, I didn’t receive the listing confirmation email until 2-5 hours later. It appears that things are running slow at Amazon.
That’s just ridiculous. We pay a monthly fee for this software because it is supposed to make listing faster. 2-5 hours is hardly faster. It would literally be faster to go back to the old fashioned way of listing items one by one through seller central.
This is crazy. I just had a book sell that I just sent over with Accelerlist. I input a price of $30 on Accerlist. It sold on Amazon for $7.20. How in the hell does that even happen?
Whenever you use a 3P tool, any problem or issue includes at least 3 potential source, your cockpit error, your vendor, or Amazon.
Most vendors blame Amazon. Amazon blames most vendors. And if pressed either will blame you.
I have never used a 3P tool to list on AZ or any other marketplace, because I never duplicate offerings on multiple marketplaces.
IMO the only reason for a 3P listing tool is listing on multiple marketplaces, and only the best tools do a good job when the marketplaces are Ebay and Amazon.
I am well aware of the blame game. I’d expecct nothing less. I just don’t know of any easier way to list inventory. Doing it direcctly through SC is a complicated, slow pain in the neck, whether it be item by item or through the use of a spreadsheet. I have several thousand items to relist at this point, and to do so through either of those means would take days, if not weeks.
I can generate a new offer with photos at a rate of over 100 per hour with the online form, and new catalog pages at about half that speed.
Do not think 3P tools are faster,
Since I describe condition in detail, and provide more extensive product descriptions than many sellers, I need to get my crap together before I start to list.
Maybe my gigabit Internet connection is why its so fast. It certainly is not my antique computers.
My best images come from a flatbed scanner, but when I do not need the highest quality, I have a so-called scanner which is a copy stand with builtin cellphone style camera which is lightening fast for multiple images.
