# Address Change on Ebay

If an Ebay buyer wants to change the address after ordering, what is the best way to handle it? Cancel/Reorder? Does Ebay frown upon changing the address?

This is my route always. I only ship to the address given at time of order

After a 20-year absence from eBay, I found an appliance part I needed and ordered from eBay. As soon as I finished the order, I realized that my address was a defunct PO Box and I wrote the vendor to change. He asked me to please cancel the order, and reorder after I changed my buyer address. He said it was against eBay policy to ship to a different address.

This is my go to as a seller.
It was always ship to a different address and no protection. So my rule is unless I can just click “print label” I won’t ship to it

Thank you all for your comments. I wrote the buyer and told them that I was not allowed to change the address after payment was made and if they wanted me to cancel the order I would. They stated NO, that they still wanted the item. Case Closed!!!
