This would be a real PITA but we have the individual test reports per RM per product.
But that’s done at the supplier / ingredient qualifying level.
We have Non-GMO on our packaging so this could be fun. easy to remove it from the listings. Bots can check images of course but the first line would be the text.
Again, not upset about this. These amateurs should have to prove the claims they make.
I’m only getting “Telephone” style answers right now but even the labs aren’t quite sure how to handle this, supposedly. Our best (not legal) advice is to get rid of the claim on anything you don’t have CERTIFIED.
We can back up our claims through raw material documentation, but not, you know, through the “pay someone we trust to say you’re trustworthy” level of certification they’re asking for now.
This is what Eurofins is saying at the moment about this Non-GMO issue:
Based on the guidance currently being provided to us by Amazon as of today, sellers who receive a non-GMO compliance notification are encouraged to submit an appeal through the Amazon compliance process as the official policy and implementation requirements have not been finalized. Testing at this stage may not be necessary. We are seeing a large number of these requests, but unfortunately we do not have a straightforward solution at this time.
NSF just cleared our product yesterday and the violation went away. Just got the same violation, for the same product, asking for the same thing moments ago.
Was just emailing SAS manager about it. I can’t even resubmit or restart the process (not that I would) - BECAUSE IT’S ALREADY APPROVED! LOL
For ■■■■ sake Amazon. Get your ■■■■ together already! It’s appealed. Need to wait 5 days for a decision. LOL
This horse ■■■■ is still going on. Called account health last week and they assured me that we were good to go and the violation would be removed. Never happened.
Just escalated through SAS issue assistance… Here’s what I wrote.
Greetings SAS Escalation Team. We have an interesting situation we would like assistance with.
Here’s a summary:
Set up ASIN XXXXXXXX on July 28th.
Shortly after, on that same day, we got the notification from Amazon Services that we needed to submit documentation through an Amazon TIC provider.
We contracted and paid NSF $500 to have the review done.
On Sept 8th, NSF responded and approved the document Amazon was seeking - Their review is attached here. The violation went away.
The next day - Sept 9th - we got the same notification as July 28th to submit the same document. Opening the workflow, it showed we couldn’t submit, because it was already approved but the violation reappeared.
Appealed immediately, that appeal was approved. The violation remained on the account.
Opened a case - # XXXXXXXXXXXX - Response was that the product has been approved. The violation remained on the account.
On 9-16 - called account health. Spoke to someone that said they could see that the issue is resolved and they would get the violation removed within 5 days. That hasn’t happened and it’s been 5 days.
Please get this issue to the right team to remove this violation from our account.
Screenshot attached showing the violation with an approved review and appeal.
