I hate to talk like this but this is much harder than it should be.
Our FNSKUs are printed on our trade dress labels. They are done just like any other CPG product by a premier label printer.
If we are having these issues than anyone using Mfg barcodes are too. It’s the same finish.
HOW DARE Amazon fine their “Selling Partners” for something that is entirely their fault? This stuff did not happen until they switched to inferior equipment. Anyone test this ■■■■ before they bought it? Guess not.
Don’t forget about Walmart. Love it it there - LOVE IT!
Write a production order for Walmart Specific product (UPC Code Version of label), ship it to Walmart, pay the invoice for the goods, collect bi-weekly distributions.
Literally nothing to do or worry about EVER…
Started in Feb, Wally World has exceeded 20% of what we do on Amazon and growing every single week.
Amazon is a choice, you’re right. Problem is that one marketplace controls 40% of all ecommerce sales in this country. If you aren’t there, you’re missing a big opportunity to lose your mind and hair.
Ermahgerd, they see “96” and think all is good because 96 POUNDS would be right, but instead they have only 96 UNITS out of 144 (and only 64 POUNDS out of 96) and they can’t wrap their heads around how 96 POUNDS good but 96 UNITS bad and…
This certainly doesn’t apply to all categories (or even many), but I learned early on when shipping in books to ship only one box per shipment; even if I have enough books for 3-4 boxes, each box gets its own shipping plan. This prevents the “We received your shipment, but you sent only one box, not two” type losses from the FCs (although they are still fully capable of losing half the books in a box)
I’ve heard many booksellers talk about FBA losing an entire box; I don’t think it’s uncommon. And of course, the seller gets the blame.
I have settled on color coding everything. The labels, the card, the something are colored differently so no one has to read to know what goes with what. If they scan one product and count, they hopefully will know that the blue is different from the orange. It helps me, too. Keeps me from making mistakes.
