Amazon is Spring Cleaning. Back in 2010 we sold used books (you know, back when people read books, and you could make a profit on them?), we also started using FBA. Amazon just found 9 of these books - scattered across FCs that didn’t exist in 2010. They are set for auto removal and I’m curious as to what they will look like when returned. And I suspect at least some are not actual copies that we sent in. We’ll see what the FNSKU labels look like. That’s usually a giveaway.

3 weeks ago, they “found” some jarred fruit we used to sell. I know it’s not ours because we never had that expiration date. Of course, convincing Amazon of this has been impossible lately. Our invoices don’t list the expiration dates. It’s data we note in house.

Yikes! 16 years ago.

I guess this is better than them sending it expired out to buyers.
Did the inbound FBA workflow even ask for expirations when you sent yours in? I thought grocery was never supposed to be co-mingled, this puts an end to that myth.

That’s scary! Is Amazon charging you for sending back this dreck?

I hope they don’t find any of my books that were lost in Amazon’s warehouses. I used FBA for certain books from 2011-2017.
