Amazon Rolling Out the "RED" Carpet for new sellers

Isn’t this nice? Reward Newbies and kick tenured sellers in the teeth… Yea, I’m bitter today.

Updates to New Seller Incentives

If you’re a new Professional seller and have yet to list your first product in the US, Japan, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, or Spain, or if you’re an existing Professional seller and want to expand to these stores for the first time, you may be eligible for New Seller Incentives.

The New Seller Incentives program helps you grow your brand, scale your business, and promote your products. Eligible sellers who take the required actions can qualify for benefits that could be worth more than $50,000, including Vine, FBA, and Amazon Coupons credits.

Effective March 1, 2023, the eligibility window to access New Seller Incentives benefits for Vine, FBA, and Amazon Coupons will be updated from one year to 90 days. Transparency credits will no longer be available.

These updates apply only to new Professional sellers who list their first buyable ASIN on or after March 1, 2023.

For more information and to find out if you’re eligible, go to New Seller Incentives.

Must be a downtrend on newsellers getting past verification interviews. They might lax barriers to entry even further. Interesting.

Till date. Everything Amazon has done recently was unfavorable to n⊙⊙bs - at least if they were sellers based stateside without special support in the PRC

Wonder how the onboarding process will go this time around granted it’s only 3 months so to make it worthwhile you’d have to know what you’re doing, launch a couple high volume ASINS to make it worthwhile - and convert and outrank the comp - which is a Tall order - but, hey, I guess it’s the thought that counts.

It’s more like a red carpet with a trapdoor.

A red carpet with good handles – for yanking.
