Amazon shipping broken?

I forgot to change my 2 day delivery today, so I have to do a Saturday delivery. I have enough built in that its Ok, just mad at myself I did this. Buyer paid 16.99 for shipping. I see the USPS is an option for 2 days in Amazon shipping but the price is crazy! normally its $7.49-ish
In Pirate ship its normal price. What might I be missing? I have a Saturday delivery date.
