[AMZ] Amazon Business adds Affirm as its first buy now, pay later option at checkout

Amazon already added Affirm to amazon.com (regular, non-Business) shoppers’ checkout options, so this just extends the service to Business customers using the Business interface, too.

This should not affect 3P Marketplace Sellers outside of possibly increasing sales, maybe reducing pay-by-invoice orders, and/or offering their own business more purchasing power on Amazon Business. Amazon extends the credit to the customer but pays for the purchase immediately.

Awesome. More ways to NOT get paid for sales until later.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Amazon started paying sellers “later” for BNPL orders.

What happens if the buyer flakes before paying but after we mailed?

I was also wondering this about offering business pricing. If they have 3 months to pay, when do WE get paid? What happens if they don’t pay?
