[AMZ] Amazon Re-opening SFP - Program Rule Changes

I still think we should be reading between the lines of what they say.

All offers must provide nationwide delivery within the contiguous United States.

Note that this does NOT say ‘nationwide 2-day delivery’, it only says ‘nationwide delivery’. Being the nitpicker that I am, I have to question why it doesn’t say 2-day delivery?

in your defined one-day and two-day delivery regions.

If every region had to be a two-day delivery region, then what would be the point of this statement?

Obviously, Amazon wants to say things that sound like they’re saying something else, so that people assume what the rules are, when they may actually be something different.

It makes my head spin trying to figure out what they mean from what they write.

The whole ‘page view’ nonsense they use to determine program eligibility is incredibly hard to understand but this -

The delivery speed calculation will be updated to incorporate all of the Prime customer page views in the contiguous US, where your offer is featured

Sounds like they’re counting views (1) by Prime members (2) when you’re in the Buy Box.

But this -

in addition to Prime customer page views in your defined one-day and two-day delivery regions.

Sounds like they’re counting all views by Prime members, without concern for whether you were in the Buy Box.

This stuff makes my :exploding_head:

I also don’t know what they mean by ‘threshold will be refreshed quarterly’. Do they mean that the targets we’re required to hit may change each quarter? Or our performance is updated each quarter? Or ??? What is their definition of “refreshed” in this context? Of “threshold”?

Does the Seller Fulfilled Prime team have a direct email address? I know I’ve communicated with them via email before, but what address did this email come from?

Why don’t you post in the NSFE forum and tag a Amazonian Forum Monitor?

Oh yes, neverminded. That is not allowed or desired for some of us.

Note to self: Why not try the email and see what happens? (sends email)

This is what happened. :unamused:

Dear Seller,

Thank you for contacting the Seller Fulfilled Prime team. We have a new online Plan of Action (POA) form that allows you to appeal your Prime eligibility suspension. This can also be used to submit proactive communications for your Prime performance and eligibility.

Submit a Plan of Action by clicking the Create POA button on the Performance Dashboard.

Note: As of Thursday, October 8, 2020, Seller Fulfilled Prime no longer accepts POAs via email.

Thank you for selling on Amazon,

The Seller Fulfilled Prime team

Fail.

Heavens to Mergatroid. Proof positive of poorly programmed BOTS.

KJ_Amazon replied but…

I find it interesting - and troubling - how both the actual URL of that NSFE post and a ‘breaking for Discourse-display’ of it redirect downthread, a phenomenon which seems to have been increasingly-proliferate in recent months over there.
