Anyone else seeing issues lately with on time delivery via USPS?

Add me to the list, for the first time in years…got an account warning now as my OTDR has also dropped to 88%. I am located in the southeast as well. NEVER had an issue before, before the new OTDR requirements, and even since. 90% was never an issue. Tickled it a few times, but never dropped below or got a warning.

I do now. Of the 26 “defect” orders I have for OTDR, here is the breakdown:

2 - UPS Ground
2 - USPS Priority
16 - UPS Ground Saver
6 - USPS Ground Advantage

USPS is killing me as they are involved in 22 of my 26 defects.

What really hurts is Amazon’s stupid “units” and not “orders” count, so I have one with an order of 8 units (x8), one with an order of 6 units (x6) and one with 4 units (x4). Ouch.

News to me that it’s not just media-rate items. This may blow up very big in time if it’s systemwide.

If I were to hazard a guess as to its cause, I would bet that the USPS introduced a heavily weighted “out the door” metric whereby getting a package off the floor and onto a truck satisfies the metric irrespective the relationship between the package’s and the truck’s destinations.

It’s possible. Tons of bouncing back and forth between the same sites it seems.
