Brand Registry - how to kick out every seller except for legit ones

I have a case where the listing is created under a different brand name but the product name is correct. Is it a violation or not?
Example (hypothetical):
The actual brand is Nike
The actual product is Vaporfly 34.0
Pictures are of the actual product Nike Vaporfly 34.0

Listing on Amazon:
Brand: TYTRE
Product name: Vaporfly 34.0
Pictures are of the actual product Nike Vaporfly 34.0 (nothing in the pictures about the TYTRE brand)

Is this a violation or not? Can it be reported through the brand registry?

In the past, this was listing brand hijacking and was normally done to smaller brands and a few well known brands. If it was your brand that got hijacked, then yes brand registry would be one way to report. Often when this happened, the brand owner lost control of the listing and it was a hassle to get fixed (took us about 4 months). Before on OSFE, we use to do posts pointing these out with image shots and several were taken down. On the NSFE, this method of shaming Amazon has lost it’s effect.

If this is not your brand and/or listing, the best thing to do would be to report the listing using the link on the product page that looks like the following image.

And we suggest doing it from your buyer side account and not your seller side account.

Yes, it’s an Amazon violation. And it’s illegal, too.

“Their plan is to report every seller for infringement to completely clean up their listings”

We indefinitely cease doing business with any company that pulls this move without warning us first.
