Did Amazon Seller forum just allow sellers to post questions anonymously?

Hi,

I’m in trouble with multiple FBA inbound overweight defects and looking for more info. Today I discovered that I no longer need to disclose my shop name when posting the question (see screenshot below). This is a welcome improvement

When you post, there is a link attached to your posting name. If someone clicks your posting name, it goes to a page that has your stats and recent posts. On the right side of that page under your name, there is a link that says View store names.

Nothing has changed … your shop name is still displayed where it always has been on NSFE.

Oh man :expressionless: Thanks for the warning before I post.

Hmm what if I delete my post after the problem is solved? Do deleted posts really gone (not searchable)? Any ideas? Thanks.

My advice if you want to use the NSFE is to only post about YOUR problem.

Yes they dox you now, but if you keep to yourself and don’t do things like say, make responses to other people telling them that they’re wrong, it’s highly unlikely that someone’s going to go out of their way to target you to cause you a problem.

Your handle name for posting would still show as a post with the contents of the post showing as having been deleted.

You can’t search what isn’t there … the best thing going with that is search on NSFE isn’t all that great to begin with.

We agree with the target part but they will follow you and put thumbs down on everything you post until they get tired of playing the game.

That’s odd. I see that on the left side of the page.

Oops … can’t trust a mirror these days …

Apparently, 18 months in (today, 092624, marks that anniversary of the NSFE’s finalization), Connor hasn’t gotten the memo (emphasis mine):

By and large, I don’t disagree with Connor’s assertion that it’s best to not publicly post one’s Merchant ID, and thereby remove the need to do a bit of digging to identify an SoA Account - but I still think that the irony here is thick enough to cut with a knife…
