Probably run by Con Edison 🤣 They have once again reduced voltage tonight… Too many EV’s and Electric Bikes, and electric everything being used… Because that’s the solution, don’t you know… The grid is so bad in NY that our Gov had to sign something into law banning new data centers until they can figure it out. ---

The problem is that it’s cheaper for ConEd (or most “for profit” providers) to lose income during power failures than it is for them to actually enhance the grid to be able to handle the new loads. They look out for their shareholders, not their customers.
