If Amazon was smarter and actually thought about stuff (and cared more about their business) they could have been doing the same thing and gathering a treasure trove of (possibly) useful data.
Makes me wonder why other platforms aren’t doing the same. It’s not like Amazon has less impunity than other platforms.
I will say it’s funny you praise them for this, then a few minutes later realize their verification system doesn’t actually work.
Would rather deal with the a-hole messaging and a confirmation button that actually works than a nice message but a system that doesn’t work. The latter causes way more stress.
