Fun with Wild Animals

He’s doing pretty good today. Got him to take his pill too pretty easily.

My daughter tried to sneak eddie through the cat door and his foot got stuck so he was screaming bloody murder. He’s fine btw (only freaked out) but obviously the boys interacted a little already…

That was your kid? I thought they were statues.

You do know that there are different meanings when it comes to the use of “stoned”?

I heard the newest Indiana Jones game had a similar gameplay feature.

:cat: : I don’t care what the vet thinks. Any injury is a badge of honor to me.

:cat: : Thanks for the praise Dad. I am well aware of my tendency to overachieve.

:cat: : Have you considered that the carrier is now too small for my majestic aura?

:cat: : “UGHHHHHHHH… I SAID I COULD STILL PLAY!”

Joking aside, praying for Mr. Ollie’s speedy recovery

Honestly, we have them back together. Obviously the injury wasn’t serious and they were both driving us crazy on either side of the cat door screaming for each other.

So it was either let them be together or remove the cat door / tunnel and re-sheetrock the hole in the wall. It would be funny to see how they might react to that passage no longer being there.

Ollie is done with his anti-inflammatory drug as of today. We’ll see what happens and go from there.

Just an update on this. So far so good. They are together ~18 hours a day at this point. Play-fighting is a little less than it was. Ollies leg has been good since his recovery. Fingers crossed it stays that way :folded_hands: :smiling_cat_with_heart_eyes:
