Have to reverify tor the Inform act but did it this year?

I’m having a hard time with this as well, and was coming here to see what others are experiencing and am looking for help. Neither of my Doily Boutique bank statements SHOW the full account number. So I got a bank letter from one. Opened a case and asked what SPECIFICALLY is wrong with the letter and got an automated clip copy paste answer. Said you didn’t answer my question, got the SAME clip, copy paste answer. So I went right back at them.

My NYS COA was just rejected again, Allegedly the name does not match.
in 2023 it was all fine. Per their own policy you just have to verify that nothing has changed after the first submission.
Nothing in my business has changed since 2008 I have no idea what their issue is.

Please tell me it’s not something stupid like W instead of West or middle initial instead of full middle name.

Actually, THOSE are the things that trip most people up.

Here is what I post on the NSFE for all those questions – generally several times a week!

AMAZON EXACT MATCH REQUIREMENTS

Go over everything with a magnifying glass looking for a missing ‘period’ or ‘comma’. Is there a different capitalization, abbreviation, spelling, or, even an extra spa ce?

That means Street is not ST.

Jim is not James.

ALL CAPS is not SOme CAps

Thanks to @Sandy_Amazon for letting us all know that Brand Registry applications are also space sensitive.

And so on………………..

They mean every comma, period, dash, etc. must be EXACTLY THE SAME INCLUDING SPACE S.

Go over everything with a magnifying glass looking for a missing ‘period’ or ‘comma’. Is there a different capitalization, abbreviation, spelling, or, even an extra spa ce?

AND, you must be the brand owner to enroll. Does the name on the registration with your Amazon seller account match the application and USPTO filing EXACTLY?

yet somehow all these documents passed 3 years ago.

Guess I will just keep submitting the same things over and over again until they accept them.

Hopefully eventually your issue actually gets to a human being. That’s the issue here as I am sure you know.

And LOTS of people actually want the world to revolve around AI. Infuriating.

What Amazon has done to all of us should serve as a warning of how imperfects artificial intelligence is.

Amazon was ahead of the game on AI, and yet it continues to fail all of us routinely.

Sure, AI can make a pretty picture of make your boobs bigger in a picture, or even write an amazing paper for school.

But critical business decisions should not be handled by a machine. And cause this much pain, suffering, and worry.

I totally agree with that and every time I can, I tell them they’ve gone too far with AI.

Good show, my friend.

JOLLY Good Show.

I harbor no illusions that any-such feedback will be likely to alter The River’s course - there’s a reason why Mr. Jassy was Mr. Bezos’ choice to succeed him at the top of the pinnacle (Andy was instrumental in realizing that Jeff’s expansion of data-center capacity offered additional access to revenue streams, and thus was born AWS) - but there’s also a reason why I expend more than a mere modicum of our time & treasure in pointing out that they HAVE gone too-far in deploying poorly-parameterized automated implementations, even when I don’t come right out & say that it’s my primary underlying resolve (link, SAS) in many a matter:

I have been pleasantly-surprised to find that my natural skepticism in such situations proved unfounded more than a mere-few times.

I have a feeling it was AI that started this problem in the first place.

They probably had AI scan all accounts. As said if there was not an EXACT match it flagged them as needing to resubmit the information.

Hence all the sellers that have to resubmit even though they already verified.

Just got off the phone with Amazon account health support
“this is a known technical issue” They will send my account for “manual” verification.

Yep their AI went wonky and instead of admitting it, they make us jump through hoops and have to call the right support to get it addressed.

Will update if it is ever resolved.

Dear The Lunatick Fire and EMS Store,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your selling account, The Lunatick Fire and EMS Store.

I sincerely appreciate your patience and I understand how frustrating this experience has been — especially after nearly 20 years of selling on Amazon with an excellent track record. Your concerns are completely valid, and I want to assure you that your case is being taken seriously.

After thoroughly reviewing your account, I have identified a discrepancy between the verification statuses displayed on your account. While your Tax Information has been successfully verified, the remaining verification types — Identity, Address, Phone Number, and Bank Account — are showing inconsistent statuses that may require further investigation on our end.

Because of this discrepancy, I have submitted your case to our internal review team for a detailed investigation. They will be looking into why your submitted documents are being rejected despite the information appearing correct on your end.

Here is what you need to know:

✓ Your case has been submitted for an internal review and is currently being investigated.
✓ Please allow the review team some time to thoroughly investigate the discrepancy and provide a resolution.
✓ You do not need to resubmit any documents at this time — please wait for the review to be completed before taking further action, as resubmitting may create additional complications.
✓ You will receive a notification once the review is complete with the outcome and any next steps if required.

In the meantime, I kindly request the following:

-Please do not make any changes to your account information (name, address, or business details) while the review is in progress, as this could interfere with the investigation.
-Please continue to monitor your Seller Central notifications and email for any updates from our team.

I understand the urgency given the September 9, 2026 deadline, and I want you to know that this has been flagged as a priority for the review team.

Thank you for your patience and your continued partnership with Amazon, Jay. We value your long-standing commitment as a seller, and we are working to get this resolved for you as quickly as possible.

Notice in writing they will not admit it is a known technical error.

Their own policy

Does my information need to be verified again if it hasn’t changed?

If we have already verified all the required information that you have shared and it has not changed, you will not be required to have your information verified again. However, under the INFORM Consumers Act, all high-volume third-party sellers are required to keep their information up to date and notify us when their information changes. We must then verify any updates made.

We will contact you via email with specific instructions if we require you to take further steps to verify your current information. We will also ask all high-volume sellers to certify that their information is still correct at least once a year. To avoid any disruption to your business, respond to these messages within the specified timelines.

Again we shouldn’t have to go through this BS

I finally got mine cleared up but I’m not even sure what was accepted etc.

Just did it with the HR raising notice on my seller mobile app - Account Deactivation Risk. Took two seconds but curse that warning. Every. Single. Time.

Yeah they could find a better way to do it when all you have to do is say nothing has changed.

Then again look at me, I did that and now they want everything again.

Yeah, the INFORM one is worse than what they used to say for disbursements. I forget the exact words, but as I recall it was “We have ATTEMPTED a disbursement” or something along those lines.

Attempted?? Seriously? Why didn’t you just do it?

A few words later and they do say payment is on its way.

That Disbursement Attempted bold header is designed to raise your blood pressure. Never skip a chance to twist the knife.

Blood pressure? What blood pressure?

Well just got off the phone with account health again.

They had an update and SHOCK PICACHU FACE did not let me know.

It seems my Business name was changed to NY It only just appeared on my side since the last contact 6 days ago.

More like they did a back end update and it screwed things up. Still didn’t explain how my License did not identify me.

Now I have to wait another 72 hours and call them again.

After 25 years I am really thinking it is time to say I had a good run and it’s time to end the business.

Such an overwrite of various SoA (“Amazonese” for “Selling on Amazon”) Account-specific SIV (“Amazonese” for “Seller Identity Verification”) previous submissions was a hallmark of the original Apr.`23 SIV Snafu*.

I would assert that this continues to be a problem for more than a few members of our Seller Community, through each consecutive year, primarily because of Amazon’s long-established penchant(s) for scrimping on support-infrastructure expenditures.

Please allow me to step a bit out of character on this score:

BITE ME

Citational refrences available upon request - I ain’t kiddin’ when I say that we archive EVERYTHING…

Well my ID has finally been confirmed.

Now my bank account is still invalid.

Again stupid AI because the format is backwards from what it is expecting.

Which means yet another phone call.

well another phone call and a request for manual review.

All because while Amazon was screwing with it’s backend it switched state and business name for the database.

Maybe tomorrow?
