Hi @meredithbead and all, I have moved some off-topic posts and recategorized this topic to Selling on other Platforms > MakerPlace by Michaels for now (it might be better served in the non-public 
SAS Confidential (members only) , but we will see).
I echo OP’s call that this topic focus on the MP sellers who are gaming the system to cheat MP’s customers out of truly @Handmade items and also perpetuating crazy misinformation about what Handmade actually is.
We saw the degradation in both Etsy and Amazon Handmade from lax vetting and nonexistent monitoring for mass manufactured goods (not handmade, non-vintage, not small batch, stolen IP, etc) that were being sold not by Makers but by resellers, drop shippers, and money laundering counterfeiters possible criminals.
The “little things” are important. MakerPlace is new enough and still has the opportunity to set itself apart from Etsy and Amazon, for Buyers who want real handcrafted products bought directly from the artisans themselves.
SellersAskSellers is happy to set this space aside for Handmakers willing to take a few minutes and protect the integrity of the MakerPlace channel and the artisan-focused handmade community.
