This change offers you the following: - **Increased security:** The removal of inactive users reduces potential access risks by bad actors and improves account safety. - **Simplified access management:** Helps you manage permissions more efficiently and helps prevent any unauthorized access. If needed, you can go to [Set and edit user permissions](https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/G901?ref=nslp_at_GRNNRLMSJJDMM8H3_en-US_nslnk_1_G901) to add removed users if they still need access to your account. ---

What is the current line on the primary user being removed instead of the secondary? I might want to place a bet. ---

Well, they didn’t take my advice on allowing a user to remove themself from the account but if this works correctly I won’t have 40’ish U.P. accounts showing up under mine! Overall I’m happy they are finally doing something after all my complaints. ---

I really don’t foresee a Primary getting deleted, but I guess it could happen. I’ve had issues getting my access removed for the last few years. The method given eventually was to delete “Global” Permissions" first and then delete the user. Somehow though I can still access other accounts even though they show I was deleted. ETA - Many accounts showing up under my name left the scene years ago and I can’t get a hold of. This goes wayyyy back, so I’ll be thankful to see them go! ---

Agree … but there may be some who set the account up with the primary and then gave themself a secondary to use on a daily basis … ---

### Update Nov 2024 👏 So today I noticed: 1. They have **actually and finally** removed a bunch of old accounts from my list that I’ve not accessed in years! I only see a few that I’ve not accessed within the last year, and I could always be wrong about that. 2. That they’ve changed the formatting/look/GUI in Seller Central’s Account Switcher a little bit. ---

I’m wondering if it’s a mobile/cell phone issue only … Doing some closer investigating. ETA - Although I see the last is showing a computer image. ETA 2 - Maybe related to Vendor Central accounts? ---

I just looked, and there’s a technical info banner about the log-in problem(s) - which some of the affected users in the ‘main’ thread have responded to, indicating that they can now log in. I truly do think that the Marketplace Switcher revamp likely played a role in this… ---
