Traditional Tibetan silver is sterling. However, the term “Tibetan silver” has been co-opted by Chinese sellers peddling mystery metal which is neither Tibetan nor silver, basically bottom of the barrel sludge.
The alibaba one is definitely not silver. It’s not even being advertised as silver. It just says “metallic” so it’s probably just a piece of tin or something. It has “999” printed on it but again, those are just numbers. It’s obviously done so that whoever buys it can lie about the metal content, but the alibaba seller’s not false advertising (which the platform WILL actually do something about if they get sufficient complaints).
The makerplace one, unless you’ve done a test buy you can’t conclusively say what it is (you have to keep in mind alibaba/express sellers do steal other people’s IP and designs). But if they bought tin rings and are selling them as sterling silver they are defrauding people.
True but the rest of their offerings are all over aliexpress and alibaba their prices reflect that.
