Manage co-brand relationships

New feature added to Brand Registry.

I am looking forward to using this feature but need some free time.
It is inside Brand Registry under the Manage dropdown.

Manage co-brand relationships

Amazon Brand Registry offers a co-brand relationships feature that allows brand Administrators to record and manage their co-brand relationships.

When a single product displays multiple brand identities, combining the names, logos, or other brand elements of different companies, that is a co-brand relationship.

Brand Registry’s use of co-brand relationships details helps protect brand integrity and builds customer trust in legitimately licensed products.

Co-brand relationships occur when a single product features multiple brand identities—combining the names, logos, or other brand elements of different companies (for example, LEGO × Star Wars collaborations).

I can see this being useful and helpful. I can also see Amazon implementing it so poorly that its only use is to damage brand owners.

Very interesting, and great for advertising
I have a couple of brands under my main brand (say TallyTony is the brand, there’s boiled peanuts, and boiled cashews, both uspto registered, and both under TallyTony), it will be good to do the further combination

With that said, I’m curious to see how it would be with the 25 sellers that bought the same thing on Alibaba and are selling it under 25 different independent brands. It would be fantastic if Amazon would co-brand them and streamline the results, though of course that’s wishful thinking that would have too many abuses

Could be a nightmare in the making … In the example Star Wars Lego set, Amazon would request an LOA from both Star Wars and Lego even though Lego has already received the marketing rights from Star Wars.

Amazon: “Our bots can handle that” … (as Amazon lays off 16,000 engineer programmers)
