Need help setting up Zebra thermal printer

The tools tab in image 1 is also where you find the Calibrate option.

We run it once in a blue moon when it starts printing a extra blank label after the label.

@TCLynx did you get it working?

We downloaded the Fedex zebra drivers and use those. They have successfully worked on all of our windows version from XP to 11.

Having said this, in the interests of full disclosure, we tend to use Zebra 500+ series and ZT410 printers.

Just had to put one of our Zebras out to pasture, All of the sudden it was showing as “Unknown USB device”. I tried my best, but I had to pronounce it dead after a few hours. It was with us for 7 years, and we purchased it USED, it owed us NOTHING! I forget the model, but it was one of the first ones with USB, so it was OLD

EDIT, It was a LP 2844 I think

LP-2844s are best installed using the UPS printer drivers. Go dig the printer out of the trash, and try the UPS drivers. Betcha a beer it will come back to life, and continue to print until long after both you and I are safely and cozily dead.

Yep, tried the UPS drivers, something on it’s logic board fried. One day it was very happy printing then, poof.

Your right they are nearly bullet proof though

I was not around it when it died, I had to remotely diagnose and try to repair, but I bet some magic smoke was let out. I was told it wouldn’t even advance labels.

Elaborating on your astute advice, our friend @packetfire has just created a step-by-step tutorial, with screenshots, illustrating how to drill down to the Calibration settings:
