New business hour delivery requirement for seller-fulfilled shipments

One of my first posts in the OFSE was precisely complaining about this
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/anyway-to-limit-business-price-to-commercial-addresses-exclude-residential-addresses/802376
It’s not fair to have to give a discount for businesses and then pay the surcharge for residential.
HDMS, whom I always thought one of the most knowledgeable posters, didn’t see the problem with it, showing how as an FBA seller he was detached from the problem.
The years have gone by (and my volume grown), I’ve negotiated with the carriers to waive the residential surcharge, but I have also decided that if you’re a business and are expecting business discounts, then buy freaking volume.
I sell commodities where the 12-pack is the base. I’m not going to offer a discount on a $50 12-pack that most people buy for their houses. If you want a business discount, buy like a business and get at least a 36 pack.

I fully understand the B2B arrangement and like it.
It’s like the 2-day shipping. I enjoy it and benefit from it.

If Amazon makes it impossible for me to use either one (it has taken the 2-day from me twice for nonsense that has been immediately reinstated with a POS POA), so be it.
It’s like SFP, I tried it, I would have benefitted from it, it was just a bunch of additional statistics that were geographically impossible to meet (ground shipping does not receive-to-ship on weekends, and FL is more than 4-days from a lot of states). So, you know what, not worth the headaches

PS, @Dogtamer, I really thought you’d comment on the “derriere fornication”
