New choices for FBA Ship to Amazon

Screw Amazon and their low-inventory fee - the FBA stock went to zero, and will simply not be restocked until the busy season is over, so its 100% FBM until further notice.

This, son, is what we call “voting with our feet”.

No fulfillment fee for YOU Bezos! Amazon FBA now is something that fulfills only off-season orders.
.

Cant believe we are paying a “placement fee” and then say “experiencing delays receiving…”

Can someone please explain what service they are providing for these “fees” if there is not a “receiving delay”?

It is literally fraud. We are billed for a service they are not timely providing!

Well, the 5-split option was there, but Amazon “highlighted” the 3 split option, and I just assumed that’s the only choice I was given:

Finally after all kind of unnecessary work to rearrange box contents, etc, a light bulb went on, and I re-did my original shipment, and clicked on that 5-split box, and this time scrolled down the page to see the 5 FCs listed there, no placement fee.

My only excuse for my early stupidity is this is only my 2nd shipment of the new system, after a 2 months gap from the first. Lesson well learned, hopefully I’ll remember it in another 2 months’ time.

I know everyone is different, and this may apply to only a few.

But (for me) if I split my shipment 5 ways,

  1. And wish to send in 5 to 25 items per SKU (that would be 1 x 5 boxes or 5 x 5 boxes as an example)
  2. Have 50 SKUs or less and wish to send in.
  3. then Amazon will display the 3 and 5 breaks.

But If my shipment is 51+ SKU then I am offered only the 1 Location-Placement fee option.

Over 51+ SKUs requires me to send 6 pieces minimum or 30 units per SKU to get the 3-5 location

The delays have migrated to LTL as well as SPD. Shipment picked up on 5-14 isn’t due to be delivered until 6-8. Preposterous! I suppose the delays are due to smart sellers stocking up for Prime Day. I hope that’s the case.

But just a heads up that the network for shipments going further than your old normal DC / FC seem to be taking forever again for LTL.

The 2 closest DC’s that got part of the 5 way split checked in pretty quickly (4 days).

We’ve yet to pay Amazon or Walmart a red cent for placement fees. Requires a little more work, patience, and a bit of risk, but it’s well worth it IMO to play their game.

I used the cheapest option given to send to EAST (Yonkers). Last update was ‘Arrived at Carrier Location’ on May 31st. So that’s great. I have no idea if it’s actually been delivered or lost in a UPS hub.

That usual means it hasn’t been delivered. Does the tracking info on UPS website telling what the estimated delivery date is?

First time I got one of these…

This is what happens where there’s not an even amount in each box (ie. boxes 1 and 2 have 9 units of product X while boxes 3 and 4 only have 8 units of product X).

Isn’t that nice. No choice for splitting for whatever reason, you pay $90 and Amazon experiences receiving delays…

What an awesome system Amazon has put together for their “Partners”

Now I’m playing around with various breakdowns… because I don’t have anything else to waste a couple hours on.

Edit to add: Of course, I could be one of “those” folks that sends in multiple cases of stuff that won’t sell for months and months
