I’m not sure SAS reps get paid on commission.
I’m sure they have metrics their jobs and compensation depends on, just like Seller Support and any other Amazon employee, but I doubt those metrics are “how much did this account increase or decrease in sales and fees month over month.”
Honestly, I think you just drew the bottom of the deck with your reps, and I sympathize.
We are on our 3rd rep. None of them have encouraged us to increase our ad spend and I’ve been quite surprised by that. We don’t spend much either, especially as compared to the rest of our category because we got our competitors ad spend from our SAS manager… Yea, that’s a thing. Pretty unethical if you ask me.
They don’t tell you who is who but you get it back in the same order it was asked. We figured that out through other means…
You sell 9 figures doesn’t mean you make 9 figures.
I work for a company that sells mid 6-figures a year and after CoG and Amazon’s cut it is about an 8% profit.
I remember seeing your post on the forums. There are so many issues with postcards right now and we are moving to a new (bigger location) so I am completely stressed about having to change the business address.
I asked if anyone had any suggestions and was just told “good luck”
Another example of this proposed workaround for Ukraine-based sellers can be found in the replies of the FMT-CMT April_Amazon’s & the AHT SME Emet_Amazon’s to this 090424 NSFE discussion:
As most anyone who is familiar with my Posting History over the years undoubtedly knows, I’m a regular critic of Amazon’s typically ham-fisted “One Size Fits All” approach in providing support (and it’s quite-demonstrable that I ain’t no Lone Ranger in thinking so) - but given the disruptions of their lives & livelihoods faced by these sellers inhabiting an active theater of war zone, I must admit that I find myself somewhat pleased to note that Amazon actually does appear to be trying to accommodate exceptions to SOP in this matter of SIV.
