I will try to edit my images and post the template when time permits.
I shared it quickly via messages without taking the time to remove my personal info which is why I cannot quickly post it here.
Would be much appreciated. Curious how similar it is to mine…..maybe I just need to change up some of the wording.
Wording is critical.
Photos are critical.
Photos or images are specific for each type of Safe-T claim.
Each Safe-T claim may require different type of photos or maybe even images of product outside of the retail packaging. This particular claim did not require photos of the product itself.
I am about to post the info I provided @primetime in messages. I am about to leave tonight and will double check that I didn’t leave anything out tomorrow morning.
Hello,
I believe you only want the $16.99 back.
Since you were credited for the return label already.
Your claim sounds exactly the same as my examples above for my Order 111-######-#####59 where I requested my original Outbound Expedited $26.25.
See this order here, where it shows the buyer paid the return label of $6.71, but was refunded the Expedited $26.25.
Then see how the return looked here, with Return Reason: No longer needed, buyer comment: don’t need it.
I would choose these 2 options from the drop down choices:
The next screen will look like this and allow you to upload 2 images or files. see here where it only has mas files allowed 2.
Mine would look like this: 1 called No Longer Needed and 1 called Fault Customer
On the next screen you can type the info I provided above like this,
Now, if you have the original refund email from Amazon that looks like this:
Then you can highlight the Outbound shipping cost refund and save that for later.

After you submit safe-t claim, you will receive an automated reply that just copies what you provided already. That is annoying.
Then amazon will respond within a week.
They will grant your $16.99, but let me know if they don’t and we can use the return email screenshot for a 2nd defense. But that shouldn’t be needed.
I believe you can even add the 3rd image as a reply with an attachment after you file the safe-t claim. Do you still have that email?
OK, so it is very similar to the one we write.
Yeah, this appeal wording isn’t flying on all of these anymore. It seems Amazon is really looking into what the buyer says EVEN if they picked a buyer faulted return reason, which is an absolute joke. Thus, they could say wrong item in the return statement and pick the ordered wrong item return reason…and I bet Amazon denys it the first time because they are doing everything they can to make this seller faulted in actuality.
Like I don’t care if the buyer says it’s not as described in the return statement…if they pick a buyer faulted return reason, it should be granted…end of story. It’s actually ironic…Amazon seemed to have changed their Safe T claim flow to make answering these easier yet with how they are now handling buyer faulted return reasons…I’d imagine they are spending twice the time they ever have on answering these.
I have had 100 percent success rate with Safe-T claims for the last 365 days. My last “denied” was Feb 2024. I may have not always agreed with the amounts, but at least somewhat of a win.
I also rarely get a SAFE-T claim denied. Amazon has instead gone the route of putting downward pressure on payouts.
Thanks, although I find it interesting that Amazon does not list all of the return reasons in this table…and, for instance, they say not satisfied with quality is seller faulted…when, in reality, they call this “performance or quality not adequate” and they actually treat this as buyer faulted.
