Scab Removal Day

Yes, I have made previous posts about those that are drop shipping from Amazon, where we place an order on ebay and then triple the cost on Amazon, but the core issue is that you can be an absolute piece of trash seller and cancel orders on Ebay and Ebay DGAF unlike Amazon.

@VTR Thought you may get a laugh out of this post I came across on Reddit…

“I’d love to sell these on Amazon and provide a great product for customers aswell as making profit myself”

I was surprised not to see any “consultants” offering to help out, for a fee…

As I’ve mentioned elsewhere in the SAS, I’ve complied a fairly-extensive list of the NSFE Profiles of such consultants; I’ve recently noticed that the FMT-CMT seems to be moderating comments from quite a few of these ‘usual suspects’ in a timely fashion.

Only took them two damn years to figure out what’s been going on…

How do I get these jerks to stop selling my FBA listings on Walmart? I contacted Walmart once, but nothing happened. The sellers on Walmart all have 1 star seller ratings, imagine.

Just a gentle reminder to scrub the internet for your IP from scammers and drop shippers who will make your brand look like trash.

That is untrue.

You are less likely to have your account closed on Ebay but you will be punished, and that punishment can be very expensive.

Their performance system

Offshore sellers have these additional measurements and punishments. They are likely to be barred from selling to the US

The biggest difference between the Ebay and Amazon approaches are

  1. Amazon puts more emphasis on prevention. Requiring authorization for brands, primarily.

  2. Amazon is more likely to react like the Queen of Hearts - Off with their heads.

  3. Ebay’s metric violations last longer. An order cancellation has effects for a year for all but the highest volume sellers.

  4. More time usually elapses before the buyer gets their refund under the Ebay Money Back Guarantee.

Based on my extensive purchase history of over 150 fraudulent items and drop shipped items using faked tracking I can safely say this exact reply is incorrect.

We have made over 300 test buys on eBay in the last 10 years and most if not ALL sellers remained active 6 months or more after our reporting of counterfeit, refunds given, and fake tracking proved by UPS,USPS and FedEx. We are currently dealing with an INR right now who uses scrubbed tracking that simply passes through our town as proof of delivery.

Your statement also does not account for those fraudulent sellers who refund prior to their case being examined. We have several who attempted to send fraudulent items or when they could not drop ship, then used fake tracking when their ship date was going to pass.

Last time I checked it was about 2000 miles to Spring TX.

Perhaps, but that does not explain why they remain months and years after being caught.

Which is why they use fake tracking and refund instead of canceling. That IMO should not only cause a ban, but should be a crime. You can’t really call something enforcement or punishment if there is a giant loophole around it.
