Shipping a FBM order using LTL... is it possible? Rules?

There’s the needed link - “First you need to request access to the freight-shipping template by completing this form. We will get back to you within 15 business days.”

Thank you so much! Crazy how well they hide anything to do with LTL for FBM orders

Since the SHC’s search functionality is so ineffective - even when one actually knows what search term to use in order to narrow down the results - it’s often easier to use the Help Content ‘tree’ displayed in the left-hand pane of the Help Content window itself.

Despite the disjointed (and often out of date, as the Editorial Team is as notoriously ineffective as the search engine) nature of the Help Content, there typically can be found some rhyme and reason there, as is to be seen in this example of the tree for the above-linked help article:

As we can see, the main ‘Parent’ article is “Seller-fulfilled shipping” - which makes sense, because that’s what you’re seeking to do with your concern - while the article in question is further ‘nested’ under the sub ‘Parent’ article “Manage shipping templates” - which also makes sense from the standpoint that the use of the afore-mentioned specialized template is a requirement for what you’re seeking to do.

Speaking of the " Shipping Confirmation template "
Starting last night All uploads are now showing the “Warning”

The Ship From Supply Source for the package was not specified. Please provide the Ship From Supply Source ID.

They must have changed something.
I see now they added:

  • Transparency code
  • & ship from name & address fields

Just a reminder.

Amazon customers expect “inside delivery” on LTL shipments. Curbside delivery often results in refused shipments, customer refunds, and the seller taking the loss on the outbound and return shipping costs.

I tend to disagree, all of our LTL shipments are not inside. Of all of our buyers, only one had an issue with delivery being outside.
