@wadeorcas : The kiosk we use most often now has a sign: DOES NOT CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE by USPS unless PLACED in the MAIL BIN and SCANNED by a POST OFFICE EMPLOYEE. Guess scammers are trying to take advantage there, too!
