When Amazon changed the way it calculated Featured Offer, the Featured Offer % did not register in the Widget on the seller central home page. Interestingly, a lot of the custom sellers saw a small bump in sales during August when this Widget issue existed. On the Manage Inventory edit pages for custom items, the Featured Offer still showed as if we had it. The seller central home page Widget is what was broken. As of September 1, 2026, the Widget has again been working correctly so Paul H 's claim that it was expected behavior is completely wrong. Dougal\_Amazon took note of the issue on NSFE and pushed the info to the “team”. Obviously, his efforts worked as seen by the current Widget function. The one thing that we would point out is that this Featured Offer widget is no where to be found on the New Seller Central currently. It may be a depreciated widget and no longer provided with the New Seller Central. ---

Not sure if I should share this, but I did discover Amazon’s algorithm for determining rankings.
