Yes, we need someone like her and a relentless lawyer willing to take on the case. I was hoping more press came from the client services company that was suing Amazon after half their clients’ unrelated accounts here shut down. Last I read there are almost 600 sellers now involved.
always my first (suspicious) thought.
As an aside in biology/medicine there is something called a prodromal phase in disease ontogeny.
When looking at the etiopathogenesis of a disease (cause and development) it is important to understand the actual development of the disease before it manifests into a physiological condition. This early physiological change would not be fully symptomatic and only signal at what’s to come often years in advance. Parkinson’s disease include sleep disturbances years before the motor issues manifest. Type II diabetes involves years of insulin resistance before overt symptoms appear etc etc etc.
The point is every destination has a path and if we understand both the path and the destination it helps us navigate things that much better. Most people, inadvertently get pushed to a destination unaware of all this and are left struggling to cope.
I haven’t fully developed an articulation of this, but its a repeated theme in my life that I am coming to grips with myself in multiple areas - it makes sense much more sense in my head.
Amazon is part of that path - it is not the destination - the future of commerce will be very different look at that potential path and perhaps you will get there and beyond.
Last of the 2024 Thoughts.
Peace Out Beaches,

The problem is that plenty of other diseases also include sleep disturbances and/or insulin resistance prior to clarifying symptoms arising.
So it’s difficult to know the destination while you’re on the path–but you are correct that it warrants analysis of the available possible destinations (outcomes) and that we actively turn our steering wheels the way we want to go (to mix your disease metaphor with hydroplaning lol).
All analogies ultimately fail because to discuss the very thing one needs to discuss - all the variables of the discussion must be scrutinized and analogies can’t do this. But in the case of Type II Diabetes there are plenty of markers to prevent it. Parkinson’s I haven’t delved into enough to make that much of an educated assertion that it’s as fitting an analogy as diabetes.
The overriding point, nevertheless, is that “etiopathogenesis” in its denotation and connotation is overwhelmingly ignored even by experts, let alone everyone else.

Amazon’s steadily making all of my items “low margin.” ![]()
Sad but true, I often wonder if/when intervention may have changed the course of disease onset.
Genetics plays such a strong role, also often ignored.
and it seems like that path continues to loop and twirl lately, sellers have all
been on a very bumpy ride. Interesting to evaluate and “guess” what may be ahead. Everything seems so unsettling,
2025 will be challenging, no doubt.
My best energy and wishes to all for a year full of HEALTH prosperity happiness and much love.
As in part of the human genome yes. But I think genetics are overstated. In my experience and this anecdotal at best, I was able to overcome Ulcerative Colitis (and whole host of complex issues) to the extent where I’m stuffing myself with gluten to no ill effects. (Un)simply achieved through diligence, study, application, replication, repetition and a little bit of luck. I am now close to running effortlessly in strides like it’s nothing - not through hard work and effort alone but the proper application of interventions which consider my entire biology as we currently understand it. Obviously, it’s very complicated and thus the trial and error. Whereas, until recently, I was gasping for air.
The issue is, no one can replace or even replicate what I did - not even an expert since this broaches multiple disciplines and the motivation and unification of effort necessary - only a person in need can muster. No one else has the time, drive or motivation to do so.
We come alone. We die alone. That is the ultimate truth.
Wishing you health, happiness and prosperity a thousand fold my friend.

The "practice " of medicine.
Sometime practice makes perfect
Other times we fail. Miserably. I have witnessed both scenarios.
“Systems” and money now control medicine.
Horrifying. Petrifying. But truth .
Your story is amazing… A well earned and deserved recovery.
May continue you live long and well continue to be prosperous - in excellent health.
The naughty part of me is kind of chuckling at the fact that this is definately going to hit direct importers a lot more than domestic sellers if I am projecting how Amazon is determining the reimbursement in the supply chain.
Surely they cannot say a F-150 pickup is only worth 20K because of current aluminum and steel prices are.
“continued trust”
Did you just get slapped in the face or kicked in the butt? … or a little of both?
Got to know ...
Is Getida from Brazil ??? … asking for a friend …

When one of the Amazon SPN’s Emerald ASPs (no pun intended) admits that they’re reduced to pushing back for answers, one can probably rest assured that the stone walls of Amazon’s execrably-bloated & inefficiently-siloed bureaucracy are not only in play, but likely causing a good deal of commotion.
I knew that was coming, someway, somehow ![]()
100% they probably do a lot more in revenue are should be plugged in to amazon but are probably getting stonewalled.
It was noted by someone (I can’t remember who, sorry) that these fee changes will likely make many/most/all of these fee recoupment businesses obsolete. I doubt Amazon is prepared to just tell them “this is how it’s gonna be, sucks to be you!”
Better to play dumb. New eCommerce marketplace, who dis?
It was me who posted this as a possibility.
Amazon dgaf…they’ve let very large sellers go - my guess is there are no inherent obligations in being a partnered service/app - except the ability to access the vast marketplace that is amazon - and I’m sure all contracts are in favor of amazon.
We shall see.
Bank on it.
Roll Out Delayed…
I FREAKING love how they spin this as they are doing us a favor. Just tell the truth Aholes… You couldn’t get it done in time OR you tested it and it sucks just like every other new thing rolled out in the last 10 years.
Hello,
The updated Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) inventory reimbursement policy will now go into effect on March 31, 2025, instead of March 10, 2025. We made this change to give you more time to manage your costs through the Manage Your Sourcing Cost page in the Inventory Defect and Reimbursement portal.
Since January, we’ve been gradually rolling out the Manage Your Sourcing Cost page to ensure a high-quality experience. All sellers will have access to this page by February 28, 2025, giving you time to review and submit your costs before the new policy takes effect.
For more information about the FBA inventory reimbursement policy, go to Changes to program policies.

I must have missed this in the original rollout. No Damn way am I going to enter my costs. So if they require this, I would guess thats no reimbursements for me!
We have only had one recently that we filed. It was about $600 on the reimbursement, only one we ever filed. I ignore the little ones, they show up in a month or two or 60.
