Well USPS had two tabs on their excel sheet for FCPIS Comm Base and FCSIS Comm Plus along with PMI Comm Base and PMI Comm Plus in 2023. But the pricing on both sets of tabs are identical (no difference). We looked back through the last two years and, where ever Plus was on the tab, the pricing on the two related tabs was always the same. If we were to go back to pre COVID templates, we might be able to find something with a difference but we only have until 2020 and those show the same pricing between Comm Base and Comm Plus.
It may or may not be actually called this but those vendors are receiving negotiated rates. If you do enough volume and are accepted into the USPS platform to print your own labels, you could negotiate your prices also.

Thatâs the exact conversation Iâve been having with our local Post Office. Fortunately they are up to date on the changes, and are aware of the extension to Sept 30. They do not, however, know why there is that grace period.
