Thanks to such perusal of various discussion venues, I had noticed that there was a relatively-new component of this enforcement initiative - the so-called â+1/Country codeâ requirement - so on 23May23 I visited the Business Address and Phone Number Dashboard; unlike what subsequently became the standard in this ever-evolving debacle, I submitted in what was then shown as the âgreyed-out defaultâ format, â+1 (xxx) xxx-xxxxâNote 2.
When it finally became possible to invoke the âSIV Postcardâ functionality on 6Jun23 - a first for me, as we were not subject to that in the earlier go-rounds of the last few years - it took a day for the status to change from âPreparing/Processingâ to âDispatchedâ, at which time the EDD was 17June.
I kept the Business Address Dashboard open on a VM (âVirtual Machineâ) from 23May until 12Jun, and was mildly amused to see the EDD bounce back and forth, earlier and later, until finally settling back to 17th on the 12th.
The postcard actually arrived on that date, & w/in two & œ hours of submitting the code, we were good to go.

I am flattered that yâall would consider it worthy of inclusion in that collection of Pro Tips for navigating the fitful rollout of Amazonâs enforcement initiative, so by all means you may do so if you think it advisable.
I remain deeply indebted to the help that weâve received over the years from members of our Seller Communityâs contributions, and now that the SAS has replaced the ASF as the go-to fount of accumulated Amazon Seller wisdom, Iâd like to continue paying it forward in any way that I can.
I cannot, of course, guarantee that things which have worked for me will necessarily be invariably reproducible - but if a âtrickâ like this helps but a single one of us prevent Amazonâs automated mechanisms trapping us in an unrequited loop, for the Apr.`23 SIV Snafu _or_ in any other regard, I will be grateful.

oh I remember one Saturday evening a foreign poster on the NSFE made comment about wanting to call someone at fed ex in USA and was asking for a phone number.
of course this ânumberâ appeared
The thread blew up, it was hilarious.
Then of course, it was promptly removed by a mod who didnât appreciate the humor.
