What's the best way to deal with "suspected intellectual property violation"?

Where in this thread was anything mentioned about trademark classes or misusing them?

Whether it is trademark classes or other exceptions from trademark infringement, Amazons bots and human prototypes for bots do not deal with the issue in a manner which takes into account exceptions.

For example, famous people like Paul McCartney or the estates of famous people like Richard Pryor have trademarked names. Amazon issues SIPV notifications if a magazine cover features the celebrity and if that fact is included in the product name.

I was flagged with an SIPV on an advertising collectible which was a sales brochure for an ElectroLux vacuum cleaner from the 1930s. They wanted me to prove I was authorized by ElectroLux to sell it.

When Amazon processed appeals, I had some of these listings reinstated, only to be flagged as SIPV again. And the prior decision on the appeal was ignored.

There are literally tens of thousands of questionable SIPVs. And the appeals process does not reflect a means to remedy them.

What’s the best way to deal with “suspected intellectual property violation”?

Don’t commit intellectual property violations?

This comment is WRONG and should be DELETED
as your answer implied the OP DID in fact violate, when that is not necessarily the case.

Further

  1. This answer did not answer the OP post.
  2. This answer is 100% Wrong
  3. Let me help with a definition of Suspected
adjective believed to exist or to be true, without certain proof.

These can be appealed successfully
