# Would we get dinged if we send it on Thursday and confirm shipment on Monday?

Ship-by date is Monday, but I’ll be out of town. Can I buy labels directly from USPS, ship on Thursday and confirm shipment on Monday? Will that affect my metrics? I would especially like to hear from anyone who’s done this.
