What I always find interesting about robots is when they try to make them do human operations… are we sure that is the “most efficient” way to do the task(s)?
Today, in virtually every corner of the company, we’re using Generative AI to make customers lives better and easier.
The first sentence is making me beg him to hire a real human editor.
“Vulcan deploys an arm with a camera and suction cup to grab the correct product.”
This new robot sucks!
Ai is gonna be insanity on steroids in then next few decades - it will redefine workflows - energy is the primary bottleneck - once we solve for it - you will see massive increases in adoption - probably. And no its not Skynet.
Yet.
Not without biological instantiation. We feel because of our bio-chem - not because of psychology. Psychology is a catch all term for human function - but that is not where function happens - it happens across hundreds of thousands of bio-chemical cascades and chains down to the atomic level (and thus far, where we can intervene - not its substrates).
Can you imagine going to an AI psychologist because it has been determined that you are short circuited?

An Ai psychologist is an oxy-moron though - press any Ai well enough and it will tell you that it’s right up there with the rest of the social studies and maybe astrology. Psychology has its uses in the way it taxonomizes extremely complex behavioral patters - but that’s all it is - it doesn’t have the capacity to understand why those patterns occur outside of its very narrow scope on discussions of behavioralism - which is why core chemistry and core biology are necessary as overlays at least or as a proper corrective lens to understand cognition: thought, motivation, drive, impulse, belief etc etc etc - we understand maybe 30% of how these intricate bio-chem chains/cascades work and perhaps about 10% of what we know is being researched at any given time. With just that, we can become the masterspecies - if one aims to do so - Ai eases that transition 1000x
If support is in Brazil that is a possibility ![]()
Amazon’s really hoping to get some of the these three-armed, three-legged people AI keeps showing us for their warehouses.
hi all–
AI has its place. Ai makes mistakes that need human overview to correct.
Me, i don’t want ai taking over my life, my appliances. give me dum appliances and keep the likes personal Ai assistance off my phone.
Let the games begin:

If this is your ASIN, please for the love of all things “schoal” at least correct the AI misspelling, if not also the perspective and everybody’s fingers.
Yes, this also has the Amazon’s Choice badge.
Maybe it’s supposed to be “Back to Sheol.” Always felt that way to me. ![]()
This is an interesting take: that AI shop bots challenge Amazon’s US dominance because they circumvent Amazon’s “search”. For a company that populates product searches with (often irrelevant) sponsored ads AND a third of revenue is from ads, it could in fact possibly be a wake up call.
When it messes with Mr Rodger’s & bob ross, it’s gone too far.
ChapGpt is a source of a great deal of misinformation and is easily influenced to slant its responses.
It is not a credible or primary source of information, it is trained on unfiltered and unvetted internet crapola.
What did ChatGPT get wrong and why?
a red herring is always a red herring in every discussion. 3 for 3.
So you use ChatGpt as the expert for your logic? Isn’t that an appeal to authority? If ChatGpt says it’s true, it must be true right?
