2 day shipping to military address

I just noticed that in the 2nd day air, it says it can go to a miliary address. Is that even possible? looks like its Germany when I google it.

How do I opt out of 2 day shipping for this address type? I don’t see a way. Its $40 (double the regular price) . I don’t have an issue taking a loss since its military and we are a military family, but I don’t want to do it again.

Edit your template and remove APO.

We removed protectorates, alaska & hawaii too.

The final destinaton might end in Germany but the shipping should be to a military mail facility in the US. Then they take over from there.

I tried that I get an error it says I have to send to Puerto Rico and Hawaii
I haven’t tried it with the military address but I will go do that when I get back in the office.

Are you using Shipping Settings Automation (SSA) ?

It may be due to having the USPS Priority Mail Express option availble inside the Two-Day Delivery options.

USPS Priority Mail Express will deliver to an APO or military address outside of the USA.

I actually have it on this ASIN, I am playing around with my SSA right now because on the new OTDR changes. . So, I guess this will be protected from any claims if its on and not delivered on time and will not effect my OTDR

I just left the USPS office because I didn’t know how to ship it and if my label was right. They told me it was good, but they couldn’t guarantee a shipping time. They accepted my express mail postage I bought through Amazon. I probably would have been just as good using priority mail. I will caulk this up to learning.

It will not allow me to remove AA/AE/AP from my shipping template

and now I got this: goof grief!

After July 30, 2024 (since you are currently frozen), edit your SSA template to create a region which contains AA/AE/AP which you can then set the pricing for those regions … here is an example …

Notice in this next image that AA/AE/AP are not part of the Expedited offering …

There is no need to have AA/AE/AP as part of Expedited as they are in a region in standard where we have it set that they will need to pay the Expedited price as a means of standard shipping (everything we ship to AA/AE/AP always goes Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope).
