So that is around $0.24 to $0.30 per package depending on zone in the 1st tier.

I think it is a little higher than $.30 in the higher priced zones.

I did not change my shipping as a result of the last cost increase. I would probably change my shipping if the holiday season was not a slow period for me.

I am seeing an increase in my shipments to more expensive zones, which suggests that perhaps I should be raising my shipping charges.

This is exactly how Sellers should be examining their order delivery costs on a regular basis, across platforms and products.

Sometimes it makes sense as a Seller to cover any increases, and sometimes that is not sustainable.

This is exactly how Sellers should be examining their order delivery costs on a regular basis, across platforms and products.

When we up ours to cover for the July 2025 increases, we went up enough to cover for what we expected to happen during the holiday times knowing that the January 2026 price increase will probably be just an extension of the holiday pricing.

In short, we base our yearly price increase in July of each year based on the USPS yearly July increase and pad it enough to cover for the holiday and following January increases.

The rate bump would affect parcels shipped via USPS Ground Advantage, Parcel Select, Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express from Oct. 5 to Jan. 18, 2026.

Wednesday, Dec. 17, for USPS Ground Advantage and First-Class Mail
Thursday, Dec. 18, for Priority Mail
Saturday, Dec. 20, for Priority Mail Express

For letters and packages heading to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories, the Postal Service’s recommended deadlines are:

Tuesday, Dec. 16, for USPS Ground Advantage
Wednesday, Dec. 17, for First-Class Mail
Thursday, Dec. 18, for Priority Mail
