Maybe they are finally allowing bathroom breaks.

That is unusual. I thought that Amazon reps were required to take the phone with them on bathroom visits.
As others have noted, seller support is in the toilet.

Functionality did come back after a few hours. I requested a call back and the wait time was about 50 minutes, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they just weren’t available earlier due to the high volume of callback requests. I was relieved, as I though for a moment that it had something to do with them thinking we were using the system too much, which didn’t make sense - we only occasionally request these call backs when a complaint is stuck for an unusually long time.
