Been using AHT for over 1 year now. What is driving me insane is:
I still have items that somehow are same day shipping. I never ship the same day, but I run into the problem of if I don’t ship it same day they expect me to ship overnight. (even though SAS is set for ground advantage and ground advantage only. Somehow the only method that will get it there in the 6 day transit time is overnight)
I have items that somehow ended up with a 5 day handling time. If I try to adjust these by shipping them in 2 -3 days it somehow backfires and makes them 1 day handling time.
Again the sad thing is the past 5 orders from Amazon I made as a customer all were late. All because they shipped after the EDD
From what you describe, it sounds to me like the problem is with your templates more than your AHT… Are you using SSA?
Do you have your handle time set at item level?
Are you using SSA? It sounds like you are and maybe mistyped (see quote below).
Do you have more than one shipping template? (maybe an old one that you are not using)
Are you sure all of your items are linked to the SSA template?
On the SSA template, do you have only Standard shipping with ground advantage? Is economy, expedited, 2 day, 1 day, and same day all turn off (deselected) and none of them have any shipping service selected?
Have you done any excel uploads recently? (wondering if by accident some item handle times were reset).
We haven’t had any issues with handle time / shipping time / claims protection / OTDR protection. We have item level 2 day handle time with SSA and AHT enabled.
