Amazon Business bulk order fee "discount"

This policy, effective 10/1, was announced to me today, 10/13.

According to the fee table, if I LOWER my prices, then I’m eligible for “only” a 12% fee on the portion of furniture orders over $1000. But furniture is currently priced at: 15% of first $200, then 10% above that. So, if I reduce my margins, I’m eligible for higher fees.

The problem with having a big swinging dongle, Amazon, is that you run the risk of stepping on it frequently.

Let me try that URL again, maybe in a non-URLy manner, so it doesn’t pass through the signin page:

No wonder people are reporting this forum as unsafe….

I read your 101325 NSFE reply about that, over in the Headline-accompanying discussion, & heartily agree with what you pointed out there.

BTW, I find the easiest way to evade the sign-in prompt is to place a space after the colon, like this (I always remove the superfluous “leading G” from SHC pages):

https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/2G7KPB963EMPEYD

As we can see, doing it this way in Discourse still leaves the URL directly clickable.

Anything inside Seller Central requires signing in, but forum posts do not (yet): New Amazon Business bulk order referral fee discount as of October 1. This was posted by News_Amazon, allegedly two weeks ago (still doesn’t count as “notice” IMO).

The replies raise good points…but no responses from any NSFE mods (of course).

THE MATHS DON’T MATH.
