They need to be called out for their misinformation so that Sellers are aware.
This happen to us back in Sept 2023 for July 2023 USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate items. The dollar amount wasn’t as large as yours.
When it happen to us, KJ did look into it for us and we were suppose to get a refund for the amount (it never happen). The rate that the adjustments were made to was accurate. Amazon just had programmed it wrong and everyone who used it got the adjustment.
Bottom line … we doubt it is worth your time to see if KJ can look into the adjustment.
Remember the golden rule … if it is too good to be true, it probably isn’t.
He’s kind of a piece of crap for assuring people that it’s right when he clearly had no idea what’s really going on. I highly doubt there was any documentation on Amazon’s side backing up his misleading information, he just came up with it himself.
Honestly, this is where I’m at for all NSFE mods, who might only be passing on information as it stands at the time but is changed later without warning or notification (or update).
But if we can’t trust the words of the NSFE Amazonian mods, what’s the point of them?
Did we ever get a signed promissory note from NSFE admins to guarantee these rates?
AND HERE IT IS!
Much to nobody’s surprise, I received 2 “Shipping Adjustments” for 2 of these 2nd day rates I bought almost 2 months ago, July 5. Bought the $8.50 UPS 2nd Day rate.
Got TWO $16 each “adjustments” for “Unknown Charge Reason”. All that bs even KJ_Amazon said this was a legit rate price. Luckily I only did a handful or so, but this is just such bull. Deep down I knew there was going to be an adjustment, I don’t know why I even used it.
Be sure to call this out on the NSFE. Ask KJ if you should open a case to share with them.
…
Trusting a forum mod is like trusting seller support to give you good advice.

Looks like we may have the opportunity to join the webinar and ask about KJ Amazon’s promise that the rates were/are accurate.
…
Indeed!
I’m no more optimistic than is anyone else re: getting a straight answer, but for those who’d like to give it whirl, the direct URL for the Registration Form of that particular upcoming webinar is here (link, Seller University)
