Amazon Canada FBM - are there carrier options?

I’m trying to find carrier settings for Amazon Canada FBM. I ship from the US. Do these setting exist? I can’t find it via help, shipping settings, or CA Seller University.

Are you using Buy Shipping or doing your own?

Trying to use Buy Shipping. I get a few more options in ShipStation, but for the life of me couldn’t find carrier settings in Amazon Canada Seller Central.

I do not believe you can buy any shipping from the US on .ca

You will need to buy elsewhere.

Beware, other carriers like UPS may levy customs clearance charges, Next Day Air may allow you to prepay them, Ground Service sometimes arrives with a big bill.

I am not a fan of selling on .ca. It is a small market. Most of the population are close to the US border. Some of the buyers will have their orders shipped to the US and buy on .com.

Carrier choices to Thunder Bay and remote locations are sparse and delivery times are awful.

Some sellers like DHL. I do not - to any destination.

I have similar feelings for DHL. They always back-charge for duties - wish they could charge it up front so I could better compare costs between carriers.

I just edited my Canadian shipping templates from weight-based to order value-based. On some orders I was giving all my revenue to DHL.

If you do decide to ship to Canada, be aware that if you use the postal system, Canda Post has still not gotten caught up from the strike. They are supposedly doing domestic first, and we are still waiting for mail that was put into the system before the strike began. They are allowing mail into Canada, but I’d bet the processing of it is on hold for a bit longer.

@Setalpz IDK if this helps? Service alerts - Newsroom - About.usps.com

Since you posted on January 3rd, and it’s now January 12th, I’m wondering if you see any changes?

There doesn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason behind how Canada Post is catching up. I had a small package from the UK delivered (ordered Dec. 11), but still waiting on one from the USA that was shipped Dec. 12th. And one that I ordered on Dec. 31st from the USA has already arrived. I also think some of my letter mail has gone into limbo, getting Dec. before the Nov. has arrived. Having said that, I do get my mail via a main sorting facility that is a bit notorious for being one of the busiest and slowest. So the mileage of others will vary.
