[Amazon] Consumable Bundles coming under fire ... again?

Going back to this closed thread - NSFE: (News) Updated Product Bundling policy for consumables … did it get delayed or are some just now getting hit?

Just got hit for only 1 ASIN. Previously sent Amazon a letter from the brand saying all bundles are good. Looks like I need to draft another one for the brand to put on letterhead.

And in un-Amazon fashion, took less than 24 hours to remove the violation.

Interesting, I came to SAS to search for variation best practices to create my first ‘consumables’ variation. The manufacturer provided the UPC for a 2 pack and the #3 appeal requirement authorization letter would not be a problem.
I already package the single unit bottled item in a box and will be packaging the 2 pack in a larger box.
Sounds like I should get that written authorization now. Any other tips I should follow?

On letterhead, dated, and signed.
Our letter essentially says ‘hey, we’ve given [our company name] permission to use anything they want from our brand including images, text, some other legalise including making variety packs and bundles’

So I created a letter that says:

" Authorization to create multi-packs for sale on Amazon

The Seller identified below has exclusive authorization to create and package multi-packs, bundles, and variety-packs of the following xxxxxxx Inc. brand products on Amazon:"

Followed by a list of products and their original UPCs.

Business Name
Seller Store Name
Seller Email
Seller Phone Number
Seller Address
Registered Business Address

List of brand names (I sell 5 of the manufacturer’s brands)

Brand Owner: manufacturer name
Brand Owner Email
Brand Owner Phone number
Brand Owner Address
Brand Owner Contact: name

Brand Owner Signature line and date

(I did not add the IP list of images, text, etc. to keep it simple, I can get that later if ever needed. I am their exclusive authorized seller).

Your example included bundles and variety packs, I realized that might be a good idea down the road - thanks for the suggestion!

Any other suggestions or does this look good?

This looks great to me! But I hope some folks with more experience weigh in, in case I’m missing something.

Thanks Papy. From the replies on this thread, it doesn’t look like there are many of us consumables sellers on SAS, which is why I posted my authorization query here.

Looks good. Just get a different letter for each brand you sell.

Thanks for the feedback!

I’ve listed all 5 brands owned by this single manufacturer in the letter, which I did before for brand authorization proof.

If that does not work down the road I will get separate letters for each brand. I try not to burden them with too much paperwork help if I can avoid it.
