Amazon Customer Questions

I’m guessing I missed a memo, but did Amazon change the way they do customer questions? We’re all of sudden getting a crazy amount of ‘product details inquiry’ messages. They’re all questions that I would expect to see asked the ‘questions and answers’ area on a product page, but that seems to have gone away.

What’s extra frustrating is the products we’re getting questions on are products that Amazon has the buy box for. So they’re not sharing a slice of the buy box pie, but want us to take care of the customer service for them.

I don’t know if Amazon is directing the messages to other sellers as much as Amazon doesn’t really have a contact option the way other sellers do, so buyers find a seller they can contact to ask the question.

I have not seen an uptick in pre-order product questions.

Interesting. We used to get lots of inquires but haven’t in a long time.
