Amazon description keeps getting bundled into a large paragraph with no explanation.

Essentially the title called customer support who couldn’t explain why. I am also brand registered if that matters.

Additionally it doesn’t let me format the bottom (add photos, fonts, bold, etc).

Please help. Thanks

I assume you are editing via seller central? BR, and I guess A+ content?

Try a flat file upload

May I ask if the Product Description in question is using the Amazon-approved ‘line break’ - which is specified as “< /br >” (without the quotation marks and the spaces) by the SHC (“Seller Help Content”) page “Product detail page rules” @ https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/200390640 ?

Furthering on @Dogtamer ‘s link, don’'t look initially at the top of the page shown. Look under that to:

`Policies for writing listings

Comply with the relevant style guide for the product you're listing. You can find general rules that apply to all products in the Amazon Services Quick Start Style Guide. Some types of product have extra style guidelines. You can find the full set in the Templates for Specific Categories.

Don’t use HTML, JavaScript, or other types of code in your product detail pages. As a special case, you can use line breaks </br> in the description.

Sounds like you are using the basic SC or Flat File Product Description area.

You need to use your A+

@Resaleretail did using A+ fix it?

What is A+? I do it on amazon’s basic add a product.

I am not exactly sure what is A+? Will it let me add photos font etc?

You can learn about A+ Content through the following link …

A+ Content

Will do. Will it allow me to have the same product descriptions to add photos, change the font, etc?

Like ASIN B00U3RGQK8 from the brand section

The br doesn’t appear to work

The br doesn’t appear to work. Also the letter don’t show up so not sure. More than 15 min

EXTREMELY unlikely, methinks, because that ASIN is both a 1P (aka Vendor Central) and a Brand Registry 2.0-enrolled ASIN.

There are two separate types of A+ Content appearing on that PDP (‘Amazonese’ for “Product Detail Page”); the portion with the title “From the brand” is ‘Standard’ A+ Content available to members of the Brand Registry 2.0 Program, while the portion with the title “From the manufacturer” - formerly known in ‘Amazonese’ as “Enhanced Marketing Content” - is generally only available to members of the Vendor Central Program - and obviously Quest Nutrition is a member of both programs.

Amazon uses a hierarchical system for “DPC” (‘Amazonese’ for “Detail Page Control”), and depending upon where a seller actually stands in said hierarchy - which can most-easily be envisioned as a ‘pyramidical’ structure, with Amazon at the pinnacle & 3P Sellers forming the base - determines the likelihood of being able to become what Amazon calls the 'Winning Contribution" for making changes to an Amazon Global Catalog Listing ASIN.

In short, ASINs like this one you’ve supplied:

https: //www.amazon.com/dp/B00U3RGQK8

are under the control of a 1P Seller that enjoys a higher perch in the DPC hierarchy than do you, and thus explains why your submissions aren’t being considered as the winning contribution.
