Amazon will triple rural logistics network size, helping create 100,000 new jobs
Amazon is investing $4 billion to expand its rural logistics network across the U.S., supporting faster delivery to millions of customers in less densely populated regions. The expansion will reach an area the combined size of Alaska, California, and Texas, and will help create an estimated 100,000 new jobs. While other logistics providers are backing away from similar projects, Amazon is increasing its commitment to ensure all customers have access to fast delivery of over 300 million Prime-eligible items.
