I’m excited to invite you to join FBM Ship+, a new all-in-one FBM program from Amazon. It’s designed to give you more accurate and competitive delivery dates, OTDR protection, and cash-back on Heavy/Bulky and XL items.

A few key aspects of the program:

  • Ship+ can be enabled on individual templates, giving you the flexibility to choose which SKUs you want to include
  • Handling time is set based on your shipping history, capped at 1-day, making it ideal for items you can ship quickly
  • Transit time is calculated using ground services (UPS Ground, USPS Ground Advantage, and FedEx Home Delivery/Ground)
  • Earn cash-back on heavy/bulky and XL items

o Heavy Bulky: Up to $0.60 off per shipment ($0.30 base + $0.30 for same-day handling)

o Extra-Large: Up to $1.00 off per shipment ($0.50 base + $0.50 for same-day handling)

  • Receive OTDR protection from carrier delays and delivery-rated A-to-Z claims when you ship on time and purchase shipping labels through Amazon Buy Shipping from the Manage Orders page in Seller Central, our Shipping API, or other Multi-Channel integrators/ERP partners. You can purchase labels using either Amazon’s rate or your own negotiated rates.

I’m not clear how this is different from Buy Shipping with SSA active. Some small incentives to ship more big or heavy items, but half the incentive is only for same day shipping. And I strongly suspect those incentives are temporary, until Buy Shipping is deprecated and rolled into this…

… and maybe SSA and AHT too?
