Amazon opens Rookie 'Member' Forum to experienced sellers. Hurt feelings to follow.

so very true. It always cracks me up when I get a notification that a mod has responded to one of my posts or mentioned me, and the post in question is well over a week old. I am always tempted to respond “took ya long enough.” Most of the time they aren’t providing any info and just asking if my suggestion worked.

Be sure to share the good stuff in here! We can help AND be entertained :winking_face_with_tongue::popcorn:

Actually looked at the forums tonight – and guess what…we got promoted…we can now answer newbie questions. Hooray . I probably will answer a few here and there. Not on nearly as much as with the old forums where you could PM another seller and bookmark threads.

This is the bit that ticked me off. Sure you did. But I couldn’t comment here darn it.

I couldn’t get to this forum at all. Even googling and clicking on that link didn’t work.

At last I edited my book mark to remove everything after the .com and made it back.

Yesterday I could not get past the little colored balls endlessly playing together.

Some technical issues briefly yesterday that may have impacted your ability to sign in.

Gotta love this. Who is this masked advertiser?

What is the thread title? I could tell you IF I could find the thread. Gotta love the NSFE.

That’s a holiday weekend post. I mean wow, the kahonies!

Ha! found it, it’s one of our very own here and brilliant.

Hilarious. Ed just gave us a plug without realizing it.

I didn’t post any replies in the NSFE but I did give plenty of up-votes to SAS posters. :slightly_smiling_face:

Well I guess they let just anybody in now. I was able to answer a post in the New Sellers Forum of the NSFE.

Just a heads-up after I saw your post from earlier today in the ‘general’ (not ‘New Sellers’) version of the NSFE here (link, NSFE), partially quoted below:

AES (‘Amazonese’ for “Amazon Easy Ship”) actually is an Amazon-provided service; it’s a subset of what is normally known as AMZL (AMaZon Logistics) here in These United States, available in select Global Marketplaces & Regions, such as these:

Australia (link, Program Home/Landing page)

India (link, Program Home/Landing Page)

Singapore (link, Program Home/Landing Page)

Mexico (link, Program Home/Landing Page)

In the UK, it’s called “Parcel Delivery Services” (link, Program Home/Landing Page)

A similar service was active some years back in the US, and has recently been re-launched (link, Program Home/Landing Page), as is discussed in this recent SAS Thread (link).

Judging from from what I’ve seen posted in the ASF about AES since Q4 of 2022, I suspect that our friends in India are struggling to utilize the program properly…

Yup…still learning things.

I do notice on the NSFE that questions from all country selling sites seem to be bunched together. In the past I wouldn’t presume to answer a shipping question from someone not selling in the US on the .com site because we don’t sell internationally.

It’s a strange ‘global community’ for Amazon. I have been ‘educated’ by a MOD that what happens with suspensions for accounts is actually different for other countries.

I had posted that if one account gets suspended any related accounts do eventually. Apparently that is not the case for all their different country accounts.

Different rules for different country sites apparently and they wonder why people don’t trust them…:face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

I don’t sell internationally either so I could be completely wrong about this, but I think that if an account is suspended all accounts in that same marketplace are suspended as well, but that may not always be true in other marketplaces. Violating a. .eu specific policy may not get my .au account suspended, for example.

Again, I stress the “I’m not really sure about this”-ness of this statement.

Well, I just answered my first Rookie question. I had to “bite my tongue” – hard.

Please understand. I don’t need professional plan it is pressed by mistake. I came to know about that only after collecting the subscription fees from my bank. The money you collected was for my mother’s medical expenses and now my bank balance is 0. My mother will die if she doesn’t take medicine. Please understand. my condition

I had a few things to say about opening an Amazon account when forty dollars a month means your mother will die. But I did not say them.

Let us in, too. Maybe it’s last man-or woman- standing. Might be those sellers who have the most down votes-at least, proves someone has read a few sentences of one’s post!!
