Tried to create another removal/disposal order. Another product that I can’t create a removal order for. Why? Inventory at a location that cannot process removal orders.
5th time in the last two months.
Solution: Open a case and have screen shot attached. Works every time. Just stinks having to do this repeatedly.
Years ago - well-prior to the COVID-19 Crisis scare that threw so-many monkey wrenches into so-many lives - such a status generally, in my own experience, indicated that either a Bin Check was underway, or that a Product Authenticity investigation was being conducted, or that Amazon’s supposedly-‘world-class’ automated mechanisms had simply lost tracking ability for the goods in question.
We ourselves will typically try again, once each Business Quarter after we find these denials, up until the next time our people file our taxes - when such losses are invariably written off.
Many are the instances I’ve noted over the years when Amazon eventually pulls its noggin out of its arse, and returns formerly-“lost” inventory stock previously-subject to the ‘no removal order possible’ paradigm to our credit (whether by cash or stock reimbursement) - and every time I see that that has happened after we’ve already written off the loss in years prior, I smile (the accountants don’t, but I do, because they know their stuff).
